Throughout the weeks the girls will be coached along the process of constructing their bill. Beginning at week one, the girls will learn how to structure a bill and then go on in the following weeks to choose and research their issue. After receiving a template and judging criteria, each girl will write her bill. At the culmination of the curriculum, the girls will each individually present their bills to their weekly group. The winner will then go to present her bill at their district level in hopes of being selected to represent their community in a 2½ day program in Washington, D.C.
